For the Smoldering Purple, we’re starting with the Hot Economy Quilt from Quilts in London. But now I’m also thinking about what we could do color-wise for Purple Passage. I love that quilt, but I think the brown/gold is what throws me off a little. And unfortunately, that one can’t really be done with fat quarters.

Another idea I LOVE — pairing Smoldering Purple with Vineyard and doing a really wild Log Cabin, like the one in Kaffe Quilts in Ireland. But instead of pink and green — pink and purple!

I think that would be LOVELY. Really fun, saturated, and lots of color.
