Join Peggy for a beginner-friendly quilting class featuring the classic Nine Patch block! This timeless design is perfect for learning the fundamentals of quilting, including accurate cutting, piecing, and pressing techniques. Whether you’re brand new or looking to refresh your skills, this class will guide you step-by-step as you create a beautiful quilt project in a fun and supportive environment.
This class is just a one-day class! But you can take the class twice if you would like more time to finish, or more coaching and teaching from Peggy.
We encourage you to bring your own machine. If you are new to quilting and need to rent a machine for class, this is an option!

Basic Supply List – Nine Patch Quilt
- Fabric:
- Assorted quilting cottons (pre-cuts like charm packs work great, or 4–6 coordinating fabrics)
- Background fabric (if using a specific layout)
- Thread: Neutral cotton thread
- Rotary cutter
- Cutting mat
- Acrylic ruler (6" x 24" recommended)
- Sewing machine (in good working order)
- Quarter-inch presser foot (recommended)
- Pins or clips
- Seam ripper
- Fabric scissors
- Iron and ironing surface
- Optional:
- Small design wall or layout board
- Marking tool (fabric pencil or chalk)
