This class I'm combining into just one "class" there will be a video to watch prior to class (Annarose still needs to film this)
During the in person class, we will do layout, pressing and the start of free motion quilting your "Sandwich" of your pebbles, backing and background (Thursday, July 16)
Since it is summer and light for later! This class can be from 3pm - 8pm (also fine if you want to leave by 7pm there will be pleanty of time to drive home later before it gets dark!

This is a raw edge applique project. 
Seaglass on the Beach Raw Edge Applique Class. Taught by Annarose - learn how to use seaglass templates, pros and cons of several different fusible web products, and prepare a project for free motion quilting. The first class session is fusibles, fabric selection and the 2nd session of the class is free motion quilting on your sewing machine.

**The Pebbles are the same size on either template, the small one is easier to the navigate, but the big one is also fun!

Session 1 Supply List for Homework:

Template - Seglass (Small or Large)

LOTS of Fabric Scraps, can be 2.5" inches - 6" Square pieces work best for this project

SHARP Scissors (Perfect Scissors, Kai, etc are great brands of sharp or micro serrated blades)

Your Choice of Fusible 1yd - 5 Yards for Class (You may iron your scraps to fusibles before class)

Steam A Seam 2 is my preference

Fuse and Fleece - OESD I also really like this

Iron and pressing supplies (optional, if portable)

Mini Wool Mat or Fusible Applique Sheet (acts as an ironing safe surface and repels glue)
Session 2 Supplies:

Sewing machine (in good working order)

Free Motion Quilting Foot - Brother Free Motion (Or Whatever brand of machine you have)

CX1 and EV1 have built in Stitch Regulators

Brother Quilt Club Series, BQ3100, etc.
- But any machine that has the capacity of free motion quilting will work on this

Basic sewing supplies (scissors, pins, seam ripper)

Thread (VERIGATED for more fun) - Annarose has used King Tut
