Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Jan will leave around 3, but you can stay as long as 5pm to finish sewing if you want!
Class Overview
Get ready to slice, swirl, and stitch your way to a stunning quilt! The Blue Onion pattern by Cozy Quilt Designs uses gentle curves and vibrant fabric combinations to create a bold, layered effect. In this class, you’ll learn how to accurately cut and sew curved units using specialty rulers and proven techniques that take the fear out of curved piecing.
This is a great workshop for confident beginners or intermediate quilters ready to expand their skills.
You’ll Learn:

Piecing and pressing techniques for curved seams

Optional border and finishing guidance
What to Bring:

Sewing machine with a new needle 75/11Universal or 80/12 Microtex

45mm Rotary cutter and small cutting mat (18 x 24 prefered) We do have 3 community cutting stations but not enough for everyone to use at the same time

Quilting Pins, clips, and basic sewing notions

Fabric requirements per your chosen size (lap, twin, or queen)

Fabric Kits:
There is not a fabric kit for this class - However, look through our selection of Half Yard Bundles for a great selection to get started.
Extras:
Each student will have a full 8-ft workspace and access to shared cutting and ironing stations.
