We will be making the large size in class.
-Ditty Bag 2.0 pattern

-20”x20” square of main/exterior fabric (or 5/8 yard)

-20”x20” square of lining/interior fabric (or 5/8 yard)

-20”x20” piece of foam. (Soft and stable, Pellon, or Bosal will work)

-fat quarter of coordinating fabric (handles, border, binding)

-18” or longer zipper. This zipper needs to be either a ByAnnie zipper, or a #5 zipper. The larger width is necessary for zipper installation.

-thread to match your fabrics. There is top stitching on this bag, so bring thread that matches all three of your fabrics. You’ll use the interior color thread in your bobbin for most of the bag.

I would like everyone to use non directional fabric for this bag. I will talk about using directional in class. Using non directional takes away frustration the first go around :)

*Basic sewing supplies:

Sewing machine(don’t forget foot pedal and power cord!) Pins, scissor, seam ripper, fabric marking tool for placement lines, binding clips, rotary cutter, ruler  small cutting mat if you have one.

**Homework Required** Pre-quilting fabrics (further instructions will be sent out in an email once you sign up for the class)
