Painting and Shading on Fabric using Inktense Pencils - Technique Class

Learn how to use Inktense Pencils to make a watercolor look on fabric. Teri has designed this class so you can experiment with several different techniques - she uses this technique in collage applique projects and we wanted to show you how easy this is!

Class Location: The Brother Creative Center (Across the Street from our Shop)
Supplies needed:
- Derwent Inktense pencils set of 12 (We also sets with 24, 48 and 72)
- Paint brushes
- Paint try
- Freezer paper
- Aloe vera (clear)
- Muslin Fabric
In this class, participants will learn to use Inktense pencils to shade and paint on fabric. You will learn how to use the pencils with three different techniques of wet on wet, using aloe with ink and using a paint medium with ink. This is a three hour class but you can stay in the afternoon and play with your new tool for designing the colors you want on fabric.
The Quilt in the Photo is one Pam has finished using this technique.
In Class You will make a sample on plain fabric to practice shading.
