Collaging For Kids! Summer Kid's Sewing
Whatevers Collage Patterns are 8" Collage Blocks that you can turn into runners, potholders, pillows, tiny quilts or continue making the designs for a large collage quilt. Patterns include complete color photo instructions to complete the block. You can do whatever you want with the finished block. These could also be made to hot glue or staple onto the back of a 8x8 craft canvas (not sold at Beehive). Would be a great project for a county fair fiber art project.
Class Location:
The Creative Center Parking out front on the East Side of Washington Ave. *No J Turns Downtown
Class is 10am - Noon. During this time all students will have enough time to make one fabric collage
What's Provided:
Class Fee Includes Instruction, #2 pencil, Pre-fussed Scraps of Collageable Fabric and Scraps and choice of 1 Collage Whatevers Fabric Pattern, and use of fusible collaging mat.

Students will have time to make 1 collage
No sewing machine is needed for this class just a creative mind!
What to Bring:
Scissors (if student has a favorite pair) *We will have some to borrow as an option
If a student wants to bring their own fabric they are welcome to do so, they will also want to purchase Steam A Seam 2 (1 yard is good - $6.25 ish a yard). The background square can be a 9" or 10" square of fabric if wanting to mount on an 8" Canvas.
Additional Supplies (the items listed below are only if the student wants to make more than one block or if they have done collaging and already have these supplies)
(Not Required but if a student wants to make a lot more these at home these supplies are helpful)
