Join us for an exciting five-day quilting retreat featuring a three-day workshop taught by Eileen Urbanek, a certified Judy Niemeyer instructor experienced in both Foundation Paper Piecing and Jacqueline de Jonge techniques. If you love intricate, stunning quilt designs—or want to learn—this retreat is for you!

Bring a UFO that has you truly stumped—maybe the pattern is confusing, the technique isn’t clicking, or you just need someone to help you figure out the next step. Eileen loves solving quilting problems and will help you work through any project, any technique, and any challenge. If there’s a quilt in your sewing room that’s been frustrating you… this is your chance to make it happen!

Retreat Dates

Retreat Check-In:

Workshop Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

This specialty retreat is limited to 16 participants.

Retreat Package Options

Full Retreat Package – $375

Wednesday–Sunday (3pm)

Workshop-Only Retreat – $325

Thursday–Sunday (no overnights)
Includes:

• Day access to retreat facility

• Three days of instruction

• 3 catered lunches (Thu–Sat)

Evening meals are on your own.

Recommended shops for Judy Niemeyer or Jacqueline de Jonge kits:

• Granny Sassy Designs (TN)

• Quilting by the Bay (Panama City, FL)

• Sew That! (Charles City, IA)

Important:

• Do NOT cut your fabric prior to class (If doing FPP project)

• You may cut your paper foundations—cut ?" away from the dotted line.

• Check the pattern’s star rating; beginners should choose 3 stars or fewer.

Beehive Quilt Shop has all supplies in stock.
Ask for Dana, Connie, or Annarose, Desiree for help with patterns and notions.
We can assist in curating custom fabric kits, but no pre-kitted projects will be prepared for this retreat.

Participants may bring any Judy Niemeyer or Jacqueline de Jonge patterns or kits purchased elsewhere.

Optional Project Opportunity

During the July or September 2026 retreats, participants may also choose to work on a Stack-n-Wack quilt (photo provided in listing).

Cancellation Policy

• Full Refund: Cancel ≥ 90 days before event

• Partial Refund / Admin Fee: Cancel ≤ 30 days before event
