Quick and easy to make, these handy little zippered cases are perfect to store and carry quilting supplies, art supplies, knitting needles, crochet hooks, and lots more.
The small case is perfect for rotary cutters, chalk markers, scissors, and more.
The long case is sized to carry longer items such as tube turning tools and bodkins.
SMALL: 2½"H x 2½"W x 8½"D
LARGE: 2¾"H x 2¾"W x 10½"D
What to bring:
Sewing Machine
at least 2 Fat Quarters (helpful but not required pre quilted fabric
The bag will be fine unquilted as well.
a 14" zipper for the small bag or a 16" or longer zipper for the large bag (Beehive has lots of Zippers in stock)
Thread to match your fabric
Basic sewing notions
- Bring Fabric PreCut as shown in the Pattern below (THIS WILL SAVE LOTS OF TIME!) Small or Large - Either is fine!
- LARGE IS THE MOST POPULAR
- Bring Soft and Stable (Foam) Cut To Size 11" x 13" or 15" x 15"
- Sewing Machine
- Walking Foot (Dual Feed DF/Muvit Foot from Brother is what I use)
- Variety of Feet (Open toe)
- Thread (Cotton or Polyester)
- Marking Tool/Pen contrast for your Main Fabric (Frixion Pen, Aqua Pen or Herring Bone to mark quilting/sewing lines)
- Scissors
- Seam ripper
- Rotary Cutter
- Favorite Sewing Tools
- 6.5" x 12.5" Ruler Is handy OR 6.5" x 18.5" OR 3.5" x 12.5 ir 18.5
