Items Needed for the Retreat:
- Pre-Quilted fabric using foam (soft and stable foam) is needed prior to coming to the retreat, if you plan on making the Running with scissors bag. There will be an optional class on how to quilt fabric on Thursday, Feb 9th for $35.00.
- Pattern "Running with Scissors" a By Annie Bag Pattern
- Bring your own sewing supplies and sewing machine, rulers, and everything recommended on the back of the pattern.
- Quilting Projects or buy something new at the Beehive Quilt Store
- If you plan to stay overnight there is bedding, towel and a twin bed to sleep in. Most people bring their own quilt and pillow.
How to Quilt with Foam. If you sign up for this class and have signed up for the retreat you can stay overnight (Feb. 9, 2023) at the Hive Retreat House for no additional fee.

TIP: See also our Take A Stand pattern, which is a companion to Running With Scissors. The pattern features stand-up totes in two sizes. Each Take A Stand tote features an adjustable, detachable carrying strap and plenty of room for supplies and more. Zippered pockets outside and divided mesh pockets inside make organization easy.
The small Take A Stand tote make a perfect stand for the Tool Case. Just fold the Tool Case over so that the inner pockets are exposed. Place the case "billboard-style" over the upright tote. You'll love the stability and easy access to all your supplies. The large tote will hold the Running With Scissors Tool Case and/or fabric, tools, and more.
