Round Pillow Flying Geese Class by Roberta
This Class will be held at the Beehive Quilt Shop Classroom
Wellington, KS 67152
Class Starts at 10 AM, Doors will open by at least 9:30
Every student will have your own 8 ft table.
There is a community cutting stations, and 3 large ironing stations.
Make a Round Pillow or a Bed Runner/Wide Table Topper.
Supplies Needed:
New York Beauties & Flying Geese Book - Required
Supplies:
- 1/2 yard for round outer pillow "border" (Purple in picture)
- The colorful parts of the pillow can be done from Fat Quarters (as suggested in the book) OR Roberta used 1 layer cake for the front and the back
- 1/2 yard for white background pieces of flying geese (paper pieced)
- There are 3 Appliqued Circles
- Roberta Used a unique Fat Quarter for each piece, Or you may use your scraps
- Add a Quarter Ruler
- Prairie Pointer Tool (Metal Pressing)
- Microtex needle 75/11 or smaller
- You Need a machine that has an open toe foot, and
- Neutral thread that goes with their fabrics.
- And if they like they could bring their own small cutting mat and rotary cutter with a new blade and a small iron and wool mat. Also a glue pen and straight
I’ll have all the foundations run off for them.
