Bold Blocks - Beginner Quilt Class with Jan Brody
Learn how fun and easy it is to make quilts! Take this class as a brand new beginner to quilting or as a refresher course. This is a fun and easy way to learn how to quilt. Ideal to have your own sewing machine prior to class. Need a new machine? We are a Brother Sewing Machine dealership and have excellent starter machines.
Class Expectations:
This class will cover the basics of tools of what are modern quilting tools, terms and techniques. Jan Brody will walk you through how to cut out all the fabric for this quilt. She will discuss how to piece fabric together. Proper techniques for pressing fabric and how to measure seam guides.
You will make at least one completed row of the quilt.
Class will cover information on how to attach borders to your quilt but you may not have them finished and attached to your quilt by the end of class.
